The concept of this ministry centers on family restoration. The conception of family was fashioned and designed in God's mind. This idea of family was a deliberate act of God. This deliberate act is seen in the creation of the first man and woman (Adam and Eve). God completed the design of family by joining the man and woman together in holy matrimony. After this act Adam stated, "Bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh" (Gen 2:23), signifying this God ordained union. Both the man and the woman were designated specific roles within that union.
The development and model of the family is seen with the introduction of the man's first son, Cain. The man and woman were to care for and raise the child under God's guidelines; one man joined to one woman and as one raising a family under the guidance of their Creator and according to the Word of God. Since the fall of man everything visible and invisible has increasingly through conscious and unconscious acts drifted away from God's original plan; principally the family. Today’s society is a product or aftermath of this drifting and falling away. The mission of Strong Family Church is to encourage and help correct the breakdown of the family by teaching biblical family principles according to the word of God.
Strong Family Church’s goal is to convey Restoration through Informing, Preparing, and Encouraging each family member. Grammatically each expression, i.e., informing, preparing, restoring and encouraging are action verbs which convey the thought of a continual process with the hope of building "Strong Families". The process is continuous, ongoing and hopefully uninterrupted like a piece of fruit growing on a vine or tree. Arriving at a condition of completion is absent and intentionally excluded while we live this side of eternity. Jesus promised and stated that the work that He has begun in each of His children would be continuous and constant concluding only in eternity.
Jesus stated that He is the vine and we are the branches; without Him or outside of Him we can do nothing. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that the family abide in Him. According to plant vegetation, when something is ripe the tendency is to pluck it from the life giving vine and if the fruit is not removed it will eventually perish or whither from the vine. In contrast to that we as Christians are encouraged to remain intact and unbroken from the Life giving Vine. Our fruit reaches its peak at the triumphant return of Christ or at His call for us to come home; being unbroken from the vine allows continual nourishment.
Until Christ triumphant return we are a work in progress, growing and developing as we are nourished from the Vine through prayer, the study of His word and by His Spirit. Abiding fruit will be continually cared for and nurtured. And because this fruit remains constant to the vine it is able to impart what is gleaned to others. Jesus stated that He came not to be served but to serve and to give His life a ransom (Matt 20:28). Those that are attached to the vine will duplicate Christ’s example. First and foremost there must be an abiding within the vine for one’s own safety and the preservation of one’s own family. Those that abide will experience personal maturity. And as they overcome they must also reciprocate the "How" to others. This care and concern is illustrated through compassionate supportive soul-care of one another within the Body of Christ.
